Linking to external sources
1. Start by enabling the entity linking module in the MediaPress settings.

2. Once enabled, on your new or existing post, highlight the text you wish to add a link to. You will see the entity linking icon in the block toolbar. This will display the popup.

3. The field is automatically pre-filled with your highlighted word(s) and a list of relevant links will show underneath the appropriate categories.

4. In this example Google is used as the external source. Selecting one of the retrieved web links will add this as a hyperlink to the text. You can alter this link in the same way you would a standard link.

5. When viewing on the front-end and selecting the highlighted text, you will be taken to the external webpage.

Linking to internal assets
6. In some instances when using the entity link, you may find that existing posts or pages, or even live entries or polls will be retrieved, depending on whether any word related entities exist within your site.

Using filters to find assets
7. When searching for related internal assets, it’s possible to add filters to the search. Selecting a start date and end date will allow you to narrow down your search.

8. When searching posts, some additional filters allow you to also search using categories or tags.
